MT-1050 | Condition Based Maintenance (CBM)-2 Days $695

As with all Mechanical Technologies course presentations, there is particular emphasis
placed on the Safety aspects associated with the nature of this course material.
Training

The purpose of this course is to show the importance and benefit of a Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) program. The benefits of such a program will be realized in greater equipment reliability and dependability while at the same time lowering overall maintenance expenses.

Tools

A successful Condition Based Maintenance program will enable Operations and Maintenance to make sound maintenance and operating decisions based on actual equipment performance rather than relying on the old standard of time based maintenance intervals or, the even less desirable circumstance of, unexpected "in service" equipment failures.

Benefits

Make equipment repair decisions based on the "root cause" of the equipment failure rather than simply changing out the broken parts.

Differentiate between the equipment that would require monitoring and the equipment that would not.

Understand the purpose and benefits of the different types of monitoring devices and analysis of the collected information.

Identify the type of monitoring/analysis required by each piece of equipment involved in the Condition Based Maintenance program.
